~Real Estate~ Virtual tours save agents walk-through time when home buyers and relocating businesses can choose to see only the properties they really like. Do I need to have a web site to show a virtual tour?
No. Tours will be hosted by ReadyTours.com for one year. You can e-mail tour links to your prospects or post them on your websites. Virtual tour hosting can be extended on an annual basis for only $30.

Are all virtual tours the same?
No. Most virtual tour providers will only provide a few rooms which are chosen by a link or drop down. Instead, we offer an interactive map which allows the viewers to see not only where in the property they are, but also where they are looking. This feature is a more powerful and enriching feature for the viewer. Additionally, our virtual tours do not require any special software in order to view the tours. We use a Java based technology which comes standard with the more popular operating systems.

Why should I choose your service?
Because Ready Tours, Inc. can give you the virtual tour features you need! Ready Tours, Inc. offers high quality visual content for each virtual tour scene. We include an interactive tour map which shows not only only your location , but also your point of view. A virtual tour should include more than a collection of still photos. Along with all of the features we offer with our virtual tour packages, you get the assurance that you will be satisfied with your tour!

How do I order a virtual tour?
Ready Tours, Inc. can take your order over the phone, by fax, or you can fill out our order form online. Click Here for more information.

How do I prepare for the virtual tour photo shoot?
Hide everything! Spacious, clean, and brightly lit rooms show the best. The property should be as free from obscuring decorations and everyday objects as possible. Here are some tips of things to look for:
Check that all light bulbs work and each tour room has available lighting.
Clean mirrors, windows, and shiny surfaces.
Clear off table arrangements, décor, and clutter in each tour room including desktops (i.e. everything but the computer), end tables, dressers, and nightstands.
Hide kitchen countertop appliances, dish strainers, soaps, sponges, and items around sinks.
Hide toys, clothes, laundry baskets, and move large plants out of view.
Remove small area rugs.
Close closet doors.
Make beds and straighten furniture cushions.
Remove toys from floors and yards.
Hide trash cans and litter boxes.
Limit seasonal décor if the tour is to be used year round.

Bathrooms will not normally be photographed unless there are special features so this is a good place to hide stuff.

Keep in mind: If a scene is to be shot in the front of the house, avoid scheduling on trash day and remove cars from the driveway and front of the house if possible. Remove toys, strollers, and other personal items from the yard as well.

For safety and security, homeowners are responsible to secure pets and all valuables during the photo shoot. Additionally, owners and agents are responsible to ensure that the property is in sufficient condition for shooting by the scheduled time. The virtual tours will not be re-photographed due to condition of the property. The photographers are not permitted to clean up or move items at the site.

What is the the difference between 115° and 180°?
A 180° field of view shows the whole sky or ceiling and shows more ground or floor in what is called a spherical image. A 115° field of view cuts off part of the ceiling and floor and is called a cylindrical image. Unless the ceiling or floor is special or unique a 115° view is usually sufficient.
